Here's your chance to meet a couple of real Lexington characters as they appeared in their prime.

A young man destined to become a star of the Metropolitan. Well no, not the opera, but the insurance company, you know? Before that he sold suits and ties for a place called Stiers, which accounts for his taste in overalls. And, before that he tickled ladies toes while selling shoes for Wulfie. He also has a famous cousin who had disowned him since the Halloween night he rushed into the cousin's living room in drag and tried to kiss his cousin on the nose.

The famous soda jerk at the original Odessa Ice Cream Shop in the 1300 Block of Franklin. His main claim to fame is that he has a famous cousin whose taste in overalls is wonderous to behold. He also whipped up sodas, malts and banana splits at Marsh Drug Store, then located first door west of Entine's.

His motto: "Once a jerk, always a jerk."
