Dear Hearts & Gentle
People:
You may talk to us for hours of the beauty of
the west, when the sun has gone to seek a night's
repose....etc.
Heads Up!!! Big Homecoming weekend coming up in
the old hometown. Somewhere in cyberspace is floating an email you should have
received at least two weeks ago, so I do apologize for the lateness of the
information. Modern technology is wonderful, when it works. I hope many of you
can make it to Lex this weekend. The planners have worked long and hard, and
sounds like a lot of good times are in store. The following is the latest info,
hot off the press:
Lexington High
Schools Homecoming weekend is
September 24th and 25th this year, but don't expect the
same ole schedule. A committee of
LHS faculty and administrators, community members and patrons has put a new
twist on the occasion, complete with fireworks, a pig roast, and a
dance.

The last paragraph
is my attempt to fire you up. Did it work? Just be glad I didn't attach sound.
