Changes, changes...

To a couple of us, this photo of the new Riverfront Park looks vaguely reminiscent of a beach on a tropical island. But that's the Missouri River on the left!

Doesn't old City Hall, now Lafayette Hall, look wonderful? The the new correctional facility, just to the north, is being sheathed in brick.

'Way up there! This crane was used to lower into position the concrete walls of the new jail. The tippy-top of this monster must be about the highest point in town!

Maybe the scaffolding isn't as high as the crane, but the work is just as hard! The Samuelson Home on South Street is undergoing extensive refurbishment. One heck of a lot of work goes into restoring the grandeur of the old homes of Lexington.
